日々是好日＠フランクロイド邸

今年秋、クランブルーク(Cranbrook Center for Collections and Research) 主催の表千家デトロイトの皆様による茶道実演がフランクロイド・スミスライトハウスにて行われました。

私の拙作『日々是好日』の掛け軸を使っていただいたことがきっかけで、その様子を記念に残したいという思いから、特別に写真撮影を許可していただくことができました。

うららかな秋の日和に、貴重なフランクロイド建築の邸宅で行われた、茶道の実演は、言葉に表し難いほど素晴らしい時間でした。

日本の文化や建築にも関係の深いフランクロイド、そしてこの地で私たちが継承する日本文化を、地域の皆様に紹介し、お茶の一服を楽しんでいただく。　かけがえのないすべてが一同に融合した、まさしく「一期一会」の瞬間だったように思います。

写真にはその一部しか残せませんが、記念の一冊を作らせていただきました。

本年も大変お世話になりまして、ありがとうございました。いろんな場面でサポートしていただきましたこと、心より感謝申し上げます。２０２４年の皆様のご健康とご多幸を祈りつつ・・・。

Please arrive 15 minutes before your tea ceremony time to board the bus. Buses will depart promptly at the published tea ceremony times (as noted above and on the registration buttons). Late arrivals will not be allowed to join the tea ceremonies. Buses will return to the Art Museum approximately one hour and 45 minutes after each of the published tea ceremony times.
