Visiting at "College for Creative Studies"

I enjoyed the visit College of Creative Studies in Detroit last Friday.   I talked about Japanese calligraphy's history, characters, poetry, tools, associated culture, etc. followed by a demonstration of my work and process as a calligrapher! The slide I prepared actually helped my speech.  Nice Q & A. It was about 90 min. then, I had 2 hands-on sessions after this. I am impressed that the students focused leaning!!! I was inspired by artistic atmosphere at beautiful campus and young energy from the students and faculties.
